Barbara Dresden: Neighborhood House

Our guest for lunch this week will be Barb Dresden, President of Neighborhood House. This is an organization started by Xemplar Dick Tupper, a long-time President of the Farmington Area Goodfellows, former Mayor, and a larger-than-life community leader and supporter. Neighborhood House provides both food and financial assistance to hundreds of local families and individuals in need. They help them food, rent, utility bills, even emergency appliance and repair bills. They also provide referrals to other agencies and resources in the area that can provide assistance in other areas, acting as a safety net when other governmental and social resources are not available or too challenging for clients to navigate.

Parking for Xemplars attending the luncheon on Wednesday is kindly provided by our good friends at Heeney Sundquist. We look forward to seeing you there!
