Karen Mondora: City of Farmington Hills Public Services
Our guest for lunch this week will be Karen Mondora, Director of Public Services for the City of Farmington Hills. Karen has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. She has spent the last two decades working on public infrastructure, both from the private sector and government sides of the projects. The Public Services Department is responsible for installing and maintaining, road, water and sewer infrastructure throughout the city. There are over 360 miles of roads in Farmington Hills, and although below the surface, the water and sewer infrastructure is similar in size. Add to that inventory the various culverts and bridges, and you get a glimpse into Karen's average day.
Parking for Xemplars attending the luncheon tomorrow is kindly offered by our good friends at Heeney Sundquist in their pristinely paved parking lot featuring more than adequate drainage and spectacular landscaping. See you there!
